But instead of a car, I got radio silence. With the company MIA (missing in action) and my credit card lost somewhere on my travels, I was stuck.
I had to ring up a buddy in the wee hours to come get me. And the next day? I was on the phone, trying to get back the money for the ride that never showed.
That night, between the frustration and the jet lag, I had a lightbulb moment. South Florida needed better. Travelers deserved better. And I was going to make it happen.
